Botox goes to court

No matter how that Beverley Hills law case is settled (you remember, the socialite versus her dermatologist), you might want to give a second thought to the next Botox injection you schedule. New findings on the ubiquitous wrinkle-remover note that Botox injections for cosmetic purposes can in some instances be accompanied by life-threatening headaches. And you thought the wrinkles were headache enough! Of course, the bad news has not yet dampened the market, where Botox sales are up some 17 percent in the last year. Speaking of headaches, one of the common off-label and not medically approved uses of Botox is indeed for relief of migraine headache—except in persons who get the headache along with the wrinkle removing. Such is life.
