Running made us what we are

You might have gotten into endurance running just for the fun or it or for the extra special runner's high. But now scientists are telling us that the ability to run long long distances might just have been the key to the evolution of the human species as we know it, including whatever is left of native intelligence. According to the scientists who reported their findings in the prestigious journal Nature, the anatomical features that made endurance running possible (long legs, large butts, short toes, among others) gave an extra chance for survival to ancestors, allowing them to chance dinner across the African open grassland. Those who couldn't compete eventually dropped out of the genetic pool.
